In the Oz tomorrow. Numbers like this:

Two party preferred Labor 55 (56) to Coalition 45 (44)
Better PM Rudd 64 (65) Turnbull 19 (18)
Satisfaction Rudd 61 (59) Disatisfaction Rudd 28 (30)
Satisfaction: Turnbull 31 (25) Disatisfaction Turnbull 55 (58) (Turnbull’s satisfaction the poll before last was 44.)
Best to lead Libs: Costello! 36 Hockey 20 Turnbull 16 Abbott 10 (Don’t know the question wording but assume Costello was mentioned.)

Thanks for the quick leak. You beat the Oz hands down. Might be good to add a time-stamp to your posts.
Concerning for Turnnbull, who will be Lib leader at the next election?
55-45
Thanks Mr keeto, headline fixed now.
I’m tipping Costello to do a Hawkey/Barney!
On the Insiders program some weeks ago, George Megalogenis noted that the combined primary vote of the ALP and the Greens has never been under 50% since Rudd became leader. Or words to that effect. I will become interested in the 2PP vote when the coalition primary not just equals Labor’s but exceeds it by say 2%. Because, unless the coalition can head Labor, it has no hope of it winning. Notional preference allocations are irrelevent, especially the way NewsPoll does it.
